CRYSTAL HEAD

Crystal Head joined Ignition Media Group in September 2021 as a project manager. She supports Ignition’s nonprofit and for-profit clients. Prior to joining Ignition, Crystal served as the Program Manager for Sinai-Grace Guild CDC and worked as a Family Reunification Worker for Orchards Children's Services. Through these professional experiences, Crystal has strengthened her love for community and is excited to support the Ignition team!

Born and raised on Detroit’s Northwest side, Crystal went to Detroit Public Schools and was involved in the community as a member of The Midnight Golf Program and Delta GEMS.

Crystal is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in urban planning from Wayne State University with a focus on Community Development and Housing. Crystal holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Crystal is also a real estate agent on the Perna Team at Keller Williams and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Crystal has a passion for community development and is an advocate for underrepresented communities to help provide resources and housing. Crystal is a caretaker at heart and loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and attractions and traveling.
